There are many interpretations to the word entertainment. The definition of entertainment means the action of providing or being provided with amusement or enjoyment. To us, entertainment is a way of enjoying things that we love and giving us things to do. I’m going to update everyone on when, where, and what kind of entertainment that will be here, in the Detroit metro area. I will also give some incite on the entertainment that will be coming.

Max And Ruby Live
Max And Ruby are known for their cartoon on Nickelodeon and now their moving to the bib stage, Max And Ruby Live. They are coming to the Royal Oak Music Theatre on Saturday, October 1 at 12p.
About performance Max and Ruby are siblings that are getting ready for an exciting event. They have a ton of thing they have to do before hand, and it doesn't help that the two of them always collide ideas. Max and Ruby will hop onto a musical bus ride to find that they find a present along the way and then return home to receive a make-over for the event. Their event features a special guest that will appear at the Bunny Party! This production will have everyone dancing, singing and even hopping.

Kathy Griffin
On September 24 at 9 p.m. Kathy Griffin will be performing on the Colosseum stage in Windsor hotel. Her comedian routine will have everyone laughing out of there seats. Her act is based off everyday life, tales of celebrity, and her dating experience.
About Kathy Kathy Griffin was born in Oak Park, Illinois on November 4, 1960. She is a triple threat because she's a comedian, author, actress, and a television personality. She won two Emmy Awards as executive producer of the reality show Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List. She debuted on Broadway in March 2011 in Kathy Griffin Wants a Tony.
Griffin has four other brothers and sisters. Three brothers named Kenny, Gary, and John and one other sister named Joyce. She has a 2009 autobiography Official Book Club Selection. In that book, Kathy revealed she struggled with an eating disorder growing up. She to this day still struggles with it, but she is able to control it. At age eighteen, Kathy convinced her family to get up and move to Los Angeles so she could become famous and yet, she did.

I Don't Know How She Does It
This film was released September 16, 2011. It is about a women named Kate Reddy (Played by Sarah Jessica Parker) who does it all! She is a great mother, great worker, and a great wife. During the day, she works for a financial management firm; by night, she comes home to her two children and husband Richard (Played by Greg Kinnear). Somehow, Kate manages to balance out the two worlds right on top. Just when things are going perfectly well, she recieves a new account offer that will make her travel around the country on a regular basis. Richard also lands a job he cannot afford to turn down. Richard and Kate then realize that their lives will never have a dull moment.
Getting to know the main character:
Sarah Jessica Parker plays the main character named Kate Reddy. Sarah was born on March 25, 1965 in Nelson, Ohio and was one of eight children total. She trained in singing and ballet as a young child, and worked hard enough to land apart of the cast in The Innocents on Broadway. Sarah is known for her role on the TV show Sex and the City, playing the lead role of her character Carrie Bradshaw. She won two Emmy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, and three Screen Actors Guild Awards for this well known role. Sarah Jessica married actor Matthew Broderick on May 19, 1997. Together they have three children. Their first son is named James, born on October 28, 2022. Their twin daughters, Marion and Tabitha, were born on June 22, 2009 through a surrogate mother.

Detroit Tigers
On September 22, 2011 the Detroit Tigers will be playing against the Baltimore Orioles at Comerica Park.
About the Detroit Tigers The Tigers are apart of the American League's eight charter franchises. In 1894, this club was founded. The Detroit Tigers have won the American League pennant 10 times, and have also won four World Series championships.
About the Baltimore Orioles The Baltimore Orioles are also apart of the American League's eight charter franchises. The team is based in Baltimore, Maryland. The Orioles have won three World Championships, six pennants and seven Division Championships.
About the location Comerica Park is located in Detroit Michigan. This stadium replaced Tiger stadium in 2000 where the Detroit Tigers used to play. It was named after, Comerica Bank, which sponsors the stadium and paid for the naming rights. Comerica Park also hosts concerts and other events, which holds approximately 41,300 people.
Many of us know him as the R&B singer who sang, “Run it!”, from his first studio album which made it on the Billboard Hot 100. He was born on May 5, 1989 in the town of Tappahannock, Virginia. At a young age, Chris taught himself how to dance and sing, and eventually made his singing debut at the young age of 16. He has created four studio albums to this day, and is currently touring with his last album called, “F.A.M.E.”. Chris Brown is working with other artists on this album by the names of, Drake, Pitbull, and Justin Bieber. In summer of 2011, Brown came out with a new mixtape called “Boy In Detention”.
About the location:
The Joe Louis Arena is a well known hockey arena located in Detroit, Michigan. The arena’s expense was about $57 million, and was built in 1979. The first game ever played at the Joe Louis Arena happened on December 27, 1979. It is home to the Detroit Red Wings. The team has received two Stanley Cups in this arena (also won two other Stanley Cup wins at an away game).
